Its with great personal joy that we bring you this tankard, Lord of the rings holds a special place in our lives.
The tankard itself is made from 6oz veg tanned leather, we tool the iconic symbol by hand, sewing the side and bottom tight to create the tankards main body and handle. Using beeswax from the wonderful people at True North Apothecary, we seal the inside of the tankard to make it water tight and suitable for drinking.
The tankard hold approximately 400ml of water, so about 1 can of beer/pop
USAGE WARNING: Beeswax is a natural product and will begin to melt if hot liquids are used with this tankard, please only use room temperature or colder beverages. This is not dishwasher safe.
Handling and Care: If the tankard is ever hit or crushed and the inner wax layer is cracked or warped, you can pour hot water in and it will soften the wax enough to manipulate and repair damage.
